Insight Global is Hiring a Project Manager Near Mineral, VA
A Project Manager is needed to support the major Digital Instrumentation and Control (I&C) modernization program for a clients Power Station. The Digital I&C project is a 10 year effort as part of Subsequent License Renewal (SLR) to upgrade safety and non-safety-related analog systems to digital and transform the main control room to flat panel displays and controls.
This role works with a cross-functional team of Project Management peers, design engineers, station stakeholders, schedulers, suppliers, construction, and other specialty project leads to execute the project implementation. Responsibilities include,
• Leads, manages, and/or supports specific phases of digital I&C project design and implementation
• Working with the lead Project Manager to develop and manage project scope, budget, schedule and risk
• Communicating regularly with team, station stakeholders, and other departments through use of presentations, log entries, and monthly reports
• Heavy interface with other groups, departments, and outside entities are an expectation of this position. Performance of a variety of other duties as requested or assigned are also to be expected.
Reports to Supervisor of Digital Nuclear Projects for the SLR Projects Group in Virginia.
